Type of towbars

What is a towbar?

A tow bar (or tow hook or tow hitch) is used for towing or carrying with your car, like a mobile home or a trailer. It can be used to pull a variety of loads. In European countries, but also in Australia and New Zealand, towbars are very common. About 20% of all cars are equiped with towbars, for SUV’s and vans, this is over 50%.
A towbar is attached to the chassis frame of a vehicle. A towbar consists of several parts such as a crossbar (fixing bracket), a towball and a wiring kit to provide power to the towed equipment.

At Brink, we offer a diverse range of towbars to cater to your specific needs. Our towbars fall into four distinct categories: flange balls, fixed towbars, detachable towbars, and retractable towbars. While each type boasts its own unique features, they all share common traits that guarantee top-notch quality. All our towbars are stylish, lightweight, and durable. They are designed to maximize your car’s towing capacity and make connecting your trailer’s breakaway cable easy. Brink towbars are tested rigorously in our advanced facility, meeting international standards and our strict quality criteria for your safety.
