When transporting your bikes, especially e-bikes, it’s crucial to consider the maximum nose weight specified for your chosen bike carrier solution. The combined weight of the bikes and the carrier must not exceed this maximum nose weight limit. Typically, you can find the maximum nose weight indicated on the plate located near the socket of your bike carrier solution.
Exceeding the maximum nose weight limit due to excessive weight can result in undue strain on the car’s suspension and towbar mount. It can also have a detrimental impact on driving performance and power steering.
